Margot Elizabeth Klawiter - Lets be real, Clementine - finally showed up.

I was glued to my phone on Sept 21 when Sarah was being induced, I anticipated a 24-36 hour process like what I had with Ben. Lo and behold I was wrong.  And that Red Ginger didn't even need a stitch!!  All I know is that I was getting the boys hair cut when she decided that she wanted an epidural, then on the drive home I heard she was pushing.  It happened so fast and smoothly I can't even believe it.  And here they are, as if they were just listening to records and drinking homebrews.  Hipsters.

They are so cool that they birthed their daughter on the day of birth of Bill Murray.
If only they sold newborn sized Raybans. . .
As I type and she is 7 weeks old she has finally reached the size of Jimmy when he was born.  She was smaller than Ben.  I have never held such a small baby in my life.
Carole Nana was delighted to hold her girl baby.
But not as excited as me, AUNT BECKY!! The best and most amazing Auntie in the whole world.  I can't wait to go birding with Margot and teach her about occluded fronts.
Ben was WAAAAAAAYY more excited about his cousin than he was about his brother.
I was stoked to hang out with Saaron again and suuuuper happy to see her drinking beer again, although I see that 9 months off the sauce didn't change much, she still didn't finish the glass.

Margot is just a little large footed long fingered saint.
We tried for newborn photos, of which I am 3 for 3 in sucking at.
Pretty solid ugly face though. . .
She was a little more sleepy in the morning and I had a little more success, but still, nothing compared to her official photos from her real photographer.

The boys were over sitting and oohing and aahing at the baby so they ventured out to the woods in the back looking for bears.
And Doodoo took Ben out for a drive, or did Ben take Doodoo?

This terrible shot is that of the Blood Moon that shone down on us for the drive back to the Twin Cities.  I finally had to pull over after craning my neck to look at it in the rear view mirror and take stab at getting a picture, without a tripod on a running car that is taller than me so I had to balance on the side of the door.  Solid gold photography here. . .

Trip back to our nations capitol

As if a weeks vacation in Townsend wasn't enough, we decided a long weekend tirp to DC is what the doctor ordered.  The lovely and amazing Guilia was tying the knot with her beloved John after 10+ years of intercontinental and transatlantic long distance love.  You know it is for realz when it can end be long distance for 8 years and keep going right?!  We arrived just in time for me to sneak out to the Bachelorette Party.
I realized just how Midwest Mom I had become after rolling with these ladies for a night.  It was fun.  And DC has laws that rival Nevada.
The next day, after some Ibuprofen, we headed out.  I really wanted to see the gravestones for Nana and Poppop matching everything else in Arlington.  After quite a walk and a bit of an argument as to how you enter the graveyard we made it.

It just so happened that John, Emily, Jack and ELOISE were in DC the same weekend so we convened on the mall for a quick "Hey Girl" and food truck lunch.  Ben and Jimmy loved pigeons.  It is a start to the world of birds.
Amazingly both Ben and Jack had Ninja Turtle shirts on, so they were immediate best friends.

Jimmy was obsessed with Jack Jack because he was a fellow curly mop hair head.

Thanks to networking and the internet I found a realiable trustworthy stranger to watch the boys so that we could go to Giulia's wedding.  I had no idea, there were only 40 or so people there.  I was beyond flattered to have made the cut for such a special day.

It was hot but we managed to do a lot, the boys went to the Monument and to see the Lincoln Memorial while I was out hear the ballpark.
The highlight for Ben, for sure, was the trip to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum.  He recently found Night at the Museum and fell in love.  He wants to be a night watchman when he grows up.  He spent most of the time looking for the tablet and wondering if we would be there when it gets dark to see everything come to life.
This reminded him of one of the characters.  When we went he hadn't yet seen the Smithsonian edition.

We fared pretty well in the hotel room, the boys loved hotel beds.

I was pretty excited to go to a new museum, the American History Museum.   Always something new in that city.

Vaca week in Townsend

Jimmy had to get his ear tubes redone.  He also had to get his adenoids taken out.  He did pretty well, but it wasn't my favorite week in August.  Thats for sure.

I didn't know where else to put this one but our neighbor is amazing and made the most spectacular Red Neck Waterslide that I have ever seen . I have only ever seen two, but I still believe that this is epic.  Ben loved it.  Martin loved it.  I even loved it.  How fun.
OK, our summer Wisconsin vacation commenced with Packers Family Night.  Ben remembered going last year and was really excited to go to Lambeau which really made me ecstatic.  Jimmy liked to hit things with his sound stick.
Jodi got us the tickets so we crashed her family party.
 See, Jimmy hits.
An old lady in a cart came by and Josh couldn't say no.  The unrivaled crochet beer can hat.
We stayed the night in Suamico and poor Gryff was banished indoors when we eat.
Then we headed up to Townsend to relax for a week of fun in the sun.  Or so we thought. The first night was pretty epic.

 I mean. Come on.
The weather took a turn for the worse so we needed to find other things to do as a week of leisure on the water wouldn't have been too nice.  We treked back to GB and hit up a children's museum.  They know how to serve up fun for a three year old.  Legos, water tables and firetrucks.
Oh and a slide/climber system of the digestive track that farts you out the rectum on the other end.
Another day we opted to take the steam train in Laona as the kids like trains and I heard there was a petting zoo.

 Success.

Ben got to load the train Polar Express style and Jimmy got to pull the horn.  They loved it.  I loved the wagon ride of slanted information about the benefits of logging on the egosystem.

Just to be clear, I didn't tell them to do this.

Finally the following weekend the weather improved, Saaron made their way up to hang out with us.
Our neighbors Bob and Jane made it up and took us out on their Pontoon boat.
Bob even let Ben drive.   I felt safe, like my driver was really aware of his surroundings.
When I picture being a kid I picture sitting on the sand beach up there or on the dock fishing.  I love that my mom and dad still have that place so my boys can make memories there.
